    1980 BJ 40 alternator pivot bolt nut size?

    Does anyone know the size and thread of the alternator pivot bolt nut? The bolt has a 17 mm head and I'd rather not pull it out to match it up as will be easier just to buy the proper sized nut. TIA

    Thanks Bear, it appears from my research that the Z plant code indicates that it was built in Portugal at Fábrica Toyota Ovar where Land Cruisers were built for a number European countries and for South Africa. I will try to contact them. Fábrica de Produção Toyota em Ovar, Portugal.
