Does anyone know the size and thread of the alternator pivot bolt nut? The bolt has a 17 mm head and I'd rather not pull it out to match it up as will be easier just to buy the proper sized nut. TIA

without knowing if the 17mm head pivot bolt itself is a original Toyota oem part or not ?

I would simply zip down to my local Toyota dealership and ask them
To pull the
It up on there trusty EPC ( electronic parts cataloger ) ..

Your paper print media chassis and body FSM has a TOP-SECERT de-coding graph chart of Sorts in the very last section of pages that you take the last 5 digits of the needed pivot. Nut and it de-scrambles it for you like a charm ,

The newly de-coded 411 , will tell the thread pitch and diameter of your needed nut , that you plan on scooping up at your local Ace Hardware , somewhere on Earth 🌎 ?
