    Fuel looks rather low in sight glass... 1. Is the fuel cut solenoid clicking repetitively with key on when you disconnect and reconnect cable? 2. Is fuel in middle of sight glass? 3. Does choking the engine help or no major change?

    FYI, factory temp sensors need to have a clean contact with ground threads for reliable readings, hard to say if you'll have an issue but the threads don't/shouldn't have thread tape.

    Haha for me it is usually 5 minutes and because I already see the failures! Quick and easy, the failures are at the connector housing and fail due to vibration/removal. Reflow these points and/or add solder and be on your way. Perhaps its my young eyes as well...but reflowing isn't hard on...

    Folks usually toss these, I'd just find one with good ports and swap cover to yours or swap entirely. Since the cover is cast aluminum, I can't tell if it has a brass/copper vac port underneath, if it does you could extract and press in a new port with some tube, I do that often with carb bases...
