I have a B series from a 75 BJ40 free to good home. It burnt a piston so I upgraded to a 3B and have no real use for it. I would think bottom end should be fine. It can come with a 4 Speed and early T-Case which was working fine when engine went boom.
Some bolts etc have been pulled, being...
No you can not they are sealed togeather
Meh each to their own I am happy with them and unlike the H4's they generate a lot less heat which is good with no snow but I can see it being an issue with snow etc .
So far I am happy with them but will keep playing around as nothing is ever done or...
I was doing a Turbo install on a 3B and as part of the process I take some oil pressure readings before and after just for peace of mind.
Anyway, I thought I would post a few pictures as they may help some one out if they are looking for 3B oil Pressures with Turbo etc.
The engine is a 3B...
That was all ass seen. The green wire you see was then bare for about 8 ft :) it even went up in flames . That is one of the down sides to 24V it fries much quicker than 12V. In this case the PO had a feed wire earthed so when the hazards got turned on it created one as opposed to warned off it...
All of the sensors are supplied from the Dash loom so yes if you put 12V supply to the dash ECU then it will pass that voltage as required to the relevant sensors. In a lot of cases it will only be passing 5v etc but regardless it will be happy on a 24V engine as it will not know it is a 24V...
Do you have pictures and compression numbers ? I have a guy who is interested but mine trucks have an interesting history when it comes to abuse .
Does it come with stock 1HZ accessories ? 12v ? What model was it out of ? What mounts ? Fan ? etc etc
I let a heap of Smoke out of the wiring loom, should make it easier to find the issue when it clears :)
One day this 36 year old Truck will be Free of PO enhancements
Post pictures but as a rule most usable parts on a 40 are in demand and even stuff you don't consider salvageable maybe needed by others with the other half of the part so to speak
Our gauges are 12v only. You could use a converter (linked below) and shouldn’t have any issues. Contact our Technical Department at 800-852-3228 for more information.

You may want to take the V6 bit off the for sale sign and if is says $50 000 I think it will have a hard time finding a new home.
There is one on here at the moment that had a full rest and over $40k in parts alone and is sitting at $55k from memory.
I would agree with JohnnyC price wise she...
