Definitely the swaybar refresh is one of the best return on investments for me. What a significant improvement with on road handling considering what little time, effort, and money well spent. Check out the "parts list to refurb your sway bars"
Thanks for the input guys, definitely helpful. @gatormark91, Sorry to hear about your experience with SPC, ive read a couple others having issues with SPC cutomer service also. @Pbm thanks for the heads up! Eagerly waiting for input/reviews on trail tailors uca.
Been in the market for SPC upper control arms for a few months now, and decided to wait for black friday. Unfortunately, nothing really panned out, Amazon ~$560, and Cruiser parts.net for around same price, however, unable to "proceed to checkout " with confidence from either of the two options...
Did the cabin air filter retrofit. I have 03 LC, had to replace with whole new cover (what a PITA) no filter access door. The dryer lint trap brush worked like a charm.
Wow! Love the updated design, i think it fits the overall look of the 100 series better, it's more refined IMHO. I'm in the market for a new rear bumper and 4x4labs was not high on that list...until now! Will you post pics after install?
@shanester would you mind telling me what shop you used and would you recommend them? Looking for a reputable shop in So Cal to have lockers f/r also. Thanks
I checked the site, added refurb parts list WITHOUT optional parts to cart, total before shipping & taxes $194.98!
I'm not doubting or contradicting you, just unclear on why such huge discrepancy on price when i checked same site same day. Others posted from $307 to $243, 2-3 years ago. Was...
Looking forward to following the progress of your locker project. I live in So Cal, and planning on having lockers installed and doing the hoses myself as well, what shop are you having install lockers? And do you know if the shop has experience installing lockers on a 100? Thanks. Pix...Pix...
I'm probably one of the least mechanically inclined on this forum and would have never considered tackling this project on my own, however, with RobRed's comprehensive how-to write up including pix and tool list has given me the confidence to at least attempt. I have a 2003 LC with 106k miles, i...
Once again, phenomenal work benc!!!
I would like to know how this design would handle rough roads in regards to potential rattling, would you mind posting a video addressing that?
Hey Guys,
New kid on the block here, been following benc's work for a while, love the bumper, great lines, high clearance, and user-friendly! Not a critique, just a suggestion concerning the exposed bolt heads during departure off ledges, would you consider some type of bolt head protector...
