I'll give it one last twirl. :) The wrangler is not in the same market as the IG, G, or Old defender because it cannot complete the tasks. Pricepoint doesn't mean s*** until you meet the market demands. When OZ moved from the Defender to the G as a replacement, they wouldn't look at wranglers no...
the fuel tank is only 90l and no place for enlargement... I'd say that's another design miss outside of the USA.
They also saved $$ by eliminating analog gauges and keeping one wiring harness. the overhead console is cool looking, but, I go out of my way to put as many guages and controls where...
Broncos, and Wranglers are not in the target market. Pricepoint isn't a target market, utilitarian is.
G463/461
Old Defender
Toyota 7x
Jeep j8 (row)
You'll notice all of those have military sales/commercial use. That was the Ineos intent. Were not getting the diesel, utility wagon or pickup...
It's solid for sure. like a G. Is that solidity worth the weight penalty when other lighter trucks with that payload dont have issues lasting 200k in OZ? not likely. there is a point of no return where you're just wasting money.
I also think if this was being built by say, chevy, and all...
The idiotic factory winch is 4500. Why idiotic? It's custom made by Redwinch to fit the space allotted and will only fit 45ft of synth. so, its expensive, made by a company with no world wide presence, and will need an extention to be handy. Thats kinda ****ing stupid for the usegroup.
Thats clearly not the target market, and they don't seem to haveing an issue selling. They have already outsold wranglers in OZ.
There are a few things I think could have been done better, like the engine choice, but what youre buying is a cab and chassis designed by MagnaSteyr. I had a D110nas...
IAC is factory set at 20% I believe, and offhand, I can't think of reason to change that, but I can't see why it would do anything harmful. Actual Idle should be about 5-10% and I think that just smooths out the rampdown.
EDIT: I did mess with it by raising it, in hopes it would delay whatever...
No, it’s not the same as far as the function of the engine and the purpose of the pvc goes, but, I don’t know how sniper can distinguish between the two.
i suppose thats my point. unlike wear, the PVC is a constant, not variable. Thats why i isolated it myself. if a healthy engine with a stock pvc unit malfunctions, and all healthy engines have one, then all healthy engines should have this error. that does not appear to be the case, thats why...
Interesting. I suspected the PVC could have an affect on this since the issue during an extended time when the throttle is closed in gear. Doing the "shake" test my PVC seemed good but I bought a new one anyway, and then I tried clamping it off completely, but neither had an iota of affect, so I...
It does not, but it does have the venturi effect sucking fuel off the bowl if air crosses it, wheres the FI ONLY gives fuel when the computer tells it to. I think when youre drifting to a halt in gear, those flaps are closed, its in open loop, its going lean, you come close to a stop, you push...
Youre supposed to have a healthy motor to start with. The unit LEARNS. Watch some of the videos they have online. Assuming your engine is healthy, once it learns and you tweek the unit for you peculiarities, transfer the learn to the table, smooth it once or twice, and lower the learn %. If the...

Anyone with any experience?
I'm looking for a "solid" metal option.
Thanks.
keep in mid there's a setting in there, that affects the reaction rate of the unit to changes sensed by the O2. 1-5, 1 being the fastest. Its there to compensate for O2's that are far awya from the intake, and comes factory on 3. if youre that close to "good" with the rpm at 680, try moving that...
