Good to know.
Interesting note, according to my mechanical temp guage the truck is now running about 10*F cooler, but seems to have a little less pep. Any ideas?
Update: A month after adjusting the idle down it crept up again so I ordered a diaphram from http://store.4wheelauto.com/index.php in Edmonton for $50. Removed the edic and the old diaphram and sure enough it was torn. Started the truck with the new part and the idle was very low so I adjusted...
Hey Nick, I'm in the west Kootenays in Rossland and by the looks of it you might be in the neighbourhood. I don't have a winch but I have a strap and a truck, if you need a hand getting it out give me a call 250-362-0006, Aaron.
I'm using these tires on my 60 as well. I haven't had any issues with chunking or flats but I sure didn't like them on snow or ice, probably due to the hard rubber compound. I'm sure siping would help but if you live somewhere with a serious winter climate I suggest getting a set of snow tires...
Nice, I just replaced the frame on my 84 bj60. How did you lift the body off of the old frame? I used floor jacks and pieces of 2x6 on end, scary to say the least. Good luck!
Don't worry, the cat will find it eventually.
Schwinn was the biggest manufacturer of beach cruisers that I know of. I would ask around at some of the shops where you are too. I remember reading about a good MTB scene in Flagstaff, you need to dig if you wnat to find that special ride.

When people point to the throttle and ask, "what's that?" I tell them it's my chevy 350. I made extensions for the sissy bars with old ski poles and it's a 6 speed.
Electra is one of the bigger names that makes off the shelf cruisers. A little too boring for me, I would rather have something...
This is mine, got the frame from a used sporting goods shop and built it with random components from the bike shop I work at. I can carry a 2-4 of beer and ice in the trailer and the grip on the right is my throttle. I've found some gems at the dump as well, you just need to keep your eyes open.
https://forum.ih8mud.com/showthread.php?t=101217&highlight=rustoration - thread on my frame swap. The only hard part (and dangerous) is raising and lowering the body. I don't know if I would want to do it again without a proper hoist.
Hey Doug, I live an hour south of Nelson in Rossland, that was a CRAZY storm, even though it only lasted 20 minutes. There were trees and power lines down here and a few houses lost sections of their metal roofs. Glad you got the boat out and hope you enjoyed the rest of your holiday, it's...
