    Aftermarket FJ40 Dash Pad

Are there instructions on how to install this? I bought one too but I've heard nightmares about having to push the windshield forward and removing the top. There's got to be an easier way to install this. Anybody have a video or just share what you did to pull the old one off and install the...

Holley Sniper & Howell Fuel Injection Kits - MUD Discount

I have this installed in my 75 and it works great. Much better power response and as a bonus it probably doubled my MPG to 14. Easy to start in cold or hot weather and at altitude in Colorado. It can become expensive but for me it was worth the price.

Ever hear of Redline Cruisers out of Colorado Springs, Co?

I've brought my 75 FJ there for years and they've always done good work and stand behind it. Justin is great to work with.

It’s an addiction. How many do you have?

I've had the same one for 21+ years and have rebuilt almost everything on it, it'll never be done. I'm happy with one.

    Should I buy this 1979 FJ40???

My two cents: There's a lot of oddities going on but nothing critical. I would shoot for about $1000 less than asking and keep in mind that this will be a project rig. Then again, tweaking it is half the fun of owning these.

    Fresh air vent stuck shut

I have a 75 FJ40. The fresh air inlet on the hood is stuck shut. I have drenched it with WD40, tried to get a pick to scrape the edge clean of any rust, tried a series of leverages to force it open and nothing will move this, not even a little. If I pull the fresh air inlet on the dash it...

    Rusted tight steering stabilizer help

A pickle fork is the tool of the gods. I hamered on my stabilizer forever and it wouldn't budge. Bought a pickle fork from Sears and I had both ends off in less than a 30 seconds. Never doubt the old tools! Thanks for the tip!!!

    Rusted tight steering stabilizer help

I have a 75 FJ40. My steering stabilizer is shot and rusted tight to the mountings. I have pulled the cotter pins, removed the nuts without any problems but neither of the stablizer mounting pins will move one bit. I sprayed it with WD40 over several days and pounded it with a 3 pound hammer...
