I wish I saw this thread before i sent him money. That guy is a total douche.

Just sharing my experience and if this should be somewhere else please advise…..

Before you go to all that trouble, i inserted an adjustable valve on the hose going from the EGR to the modulator. It helped alot , just needs to be checked every now and then
just sounds like we need to regulate the vacuum from the EGR to reflect a new OEM EGR. Can't we use a valve and adjust the flow until it runs well and doesnt ping?
I have a spartan on the rear of my fj60 and I also like it. However, it definitely wasn't transparent, for me. I notice when i lift off the throttle the rear end sways a little more than before, much like torque steer. Some say its not the best to have if you are snow driving alot but I can't...
Feels like im getting ripped off when I see one foam cost 200 dollars and a pair is 330. For FOAM!??
Anyways, I don't need a pair but maybe if someone wants to go half on a set and live close to each other, maybe that would be a better option.
I wonder if the previous owner installed a lunch box locker type in the rear.
I have one installed and it knocks loudly when I round a sharp corner every now and then.
Im sure there are better videos but just a sample
I like the idea of using the Tee mod trick and switching the distributor vacuum lines. I think just because some of us can't hear the pinging with the T mod, there still the potential of damage occurring.
I definitely hear pinging with the Tee mod at 7* timing. Curious what the timing...
I just did this exact thing. I bought an OEM seal but wanted to buy a Marlin rear diff seal but they were out of stock. You will also benefit from buying a new stake nut. I marked the nut and measured the threads using a caliper. Removed the nut, struggled getting the old seal out and replaced...
I used about 5 cans for the underside of my fj60. I was pretty liberal with it and it freaking smelled bad for more than a couple of weeks. People say to spray it and drive on a dirt road for a few miles!
I drove through a wet salt flat and pressured sprayed the bottom side of my rig and...
I bought a rusty 60 for 1200 with 152 K miles so I understand . I just knew that I wasn’t gonna spend thousands on it...just put money into it to make sure it brings me home. So Ive been really happy with it.
I feel sorry for the mom. Drugs and families are a tough combination. I am a social worker and witness the impact of drugs not only on the client but anyone in contact.
Keep up the good fight!
