Out looking for a 200, found a 2004 100 in Tennessee. 240k miles, but the previous owners took good care. Most importantly, 2nd timing belt and water pump installed at 236k. Dealer sticker on cowl. Used car dealer asking 9800. THOUGHTs?
200 series TLC Wanted. Retiring in 8 months and need to find a good 200 to do a light expedition build on. Plan to do a lot of camping with my already retired better half and a lot of biking (read here OBX build). I have been seriously looking, even test drove a 2009 today in Greenville with...
Hey Jason, doing great. Just keeping a low online profile in the last few years as work intensifies the closer I get to retirement. Will be a real pest when retirement hits in 2019. Still have a garage full of Toyotas and even more bikes. Plan on combining the 2 when retirement hits: 100 series...
Jason, that "crotchety old man" was probably your cousin. Next time, just tell them you are a direct descendant of a Shelton Laurel native -- the gun play will end and you will be invited over for dinner.
Not being a cat guy, my solution was to put sticky boards under the truck after parking at night. A little dab of peanut butter in the middle of the board helps too. After a few nights, problem solved.
That's Great Marhsall! I have the new validation/registration sticker for the Stout (and the Title if you happen to need it). Would like to get my 40 into THC after you sell the Stout for some maintenance (trying to spend all my money in the Upstate).
I have my 67 Stout on consignment at Trollhole's Cruisers in Greer, SC, and I am ready to sell. Price is $12,000.00. Marshall, owner of Trollholes, has full authority to cut a deal and sell. Marshall was able to fix a number of mechanical issues that I had no idea how to resolve and it is...
It's not the height that is an issue (I'm 6'2" and there is plenty of extra head room). The problem is I'm 220 with gorilla arms (36" sleeves, 48" chest) and the steering wheel is a real "gut check" for me.
Hey all, just to let you know, Marshall has my 1967 Stout at Trollhole's on consignment and it is for sale. Marshall has made it better than ever and can work with you on a fair price. I used the truck for hauling stuff from Lowe's and to the dump, and was constantly being stopped (read here...
Yep, I did the Land Rover experience at the Biltmore last winter (in the snow!) and the LR instructors were very respectful of us LC owners. Its fun to drive the hell out of a LR you don't have to fix.
Can the description be right, "never been registered for on road use." Is this an underpriced cruiser waiting to be snatched up? (not mine, yada yada)

Best Christmas party ever. The Pumpkin home brew high Gravity was just this side of moonshine and delicious. Home brew pic photo-bombed by a 60. Thanks Marshall.
Tell me about it. WNC is becoming little Manhattan. Recent topic at HOA meeting was whether to start fining members for covenant violations, which makes no sense in a neighborhood of vinyl siding. Looked at some property in Marietta SC recently and was impressed by the live and let live...
Teddy - In fact I am! Dropping it off with Marshall, as he is going to be brokering it for me. (I am in serious need of a 2016 Tacoma, 4 Door, TRD, Quicksand -- not allowed 2 pickups in my driveway).
