Too funny. I was just thinking the same thing. I recently purchased a Zodia FC470 Combat Rubber Raiding Craft inflatable boat that I will trailer behind my truck. I was thinking of using my Kayma Jerry Can carrier to hold the outboard motor. If I do, I will post photos.
Be prepared for all of your warning lights to come on and your dashboard to light up light a Christmas tree. That has happened to me a few times on long, cold freeway drives (sub zero for several hours at a time). Don't know why, but my research showed it happened to others on this forum with...
Sounds like broken cylinder. That happened to me couple months ago, was a $600 or so fix. It is not an easy fix, needs to be towed to repair guy, unfortunately. Do a search on this, lots of good informtion from others.
Regarding vehilce wrap, I've had my black wrap for almost 2 years now. I "blacked out" all my chrome and wrapped the tupperware side panels.
Its now peeling in places, and, unfortunately, looks like I applied vehicle wrap--which is not a good thing.
I would stay away from the stuff in the...
For me, its a function of the seat bottom being too short. The Ford I drove had a comparatively longer seat bottom, which made a huge difference since my legs were not hanging over the end of the seat as much.
Within the last year, I've noticed that on trips of an hour or more in my Lexus my legs are killing me, and it takes longer to stretch out after a drive. I'm 6'4". I thought it was just me getting old (I'm mid 40s) but this past weekend I borrowed a buddy's Ford F350 and drove it 15 hours...
This would be a great option, if someone made it. It probably would not be too hard to completely remove outward tilting window and replace it with a slider.
My dog would like it too. Instead I get dog slobber all over the window where he tries to get some air with window opened. Its gross.
Selling Cruisers in this Economy
How do you guys think the market is for selling decent Cruisers? I've got mine listed https://forum.ih8mud.com/vehicles-trailers-sale-wanted/376120-2002-lx-470-arb-kaymar-ome.html#post5438190 and am curious to ask those of you that recently purchased how hard...
2002 Lexus LX 470. Black/tan leather interior. Navigation system. Power everything (its a Lexus!) ARB Front winch bumper, Kaymar Rear bumper with swing out jerry can carrier, Old Man Emu HD suspension, tow package, Magnaflow exhaust, BF Goodrich Mud Terrain tires, very good condition, runs...
I have Kaymar bumper with a swing out jerry can carrier. I will attempt to post a picture, and if it works you can barely see the swing out carrier, but its the best photo I have. Its no problem at all--I can open the swing out carrier completely without hitting anything on my trailer tongue...
I'm considering selling my 100 Series and purchasing a 60 Series. Its been a very long time since I've been in a 60 Series, and would like to check out a local truck to see and drive (if you don't mind) before I start looking seriously. If anyone would mind me taking a look at their 60 Series...
Thats a great product. I'm just up the coast from you, so if you need another test vehicle let me know. Is the floor mesh OK for a medium size dog (Doberman, 80 lbs, big feet) such that paws don't get caught in between the mesh?
You should get your intellectual property nailed down, slap a...
I do not find the heavy springs uncomfortable at all. The only extra weight I carry is the weight of the Kaymar bumper and a jerry can full of gas, not too much weight. If you routinely keep 2-300 pounds, in my opion, the heavy springs would be just fine.
