Within the last year, I've noticed that on trips of an hour or more in my Lexus my legs are killing me, and it takes longer to stretch out after a drive. I'm 6'4". I thought it was just me getting old (I'm mid 40s) but this past weekend I borrowed a buddy's Ford F350 and drove it 15 hours straight, with little or no leg pain compared to the Lexus. The full size seats of the Ford were very comfortable. I guess Japanese cars are made for smaller people?

Anyone else have this problem?

Probalby just a seat adjustment issue... try tipping the front of the seat up or down to your liking... that might hlep..

Hm, I'm 6'3" and I find my LX supremely comfortable, even after hours of driving...

Age!

I am mid 40s too, and I have noticed increasing "uncomfortability" too, but don't think it's the truck. Certainly something like a F350 maybe be better, but there is definitely nothing wrong with the LX seating.

I am sensitive to this issue as I just added a 45 gallon FR tank, so now have a range of ~800 miles and want to be comfortable.... as well as dry (looking a various adult diaper products).

I think the seats are good but they aren't all that. On long drives my van and GMC p/u are as good if not a bit better. But +1 to messing with the adjustments. With them you can change your position in numerous ways. I'm 59 and haven't had the issues you're describing.

While we hated our Volvo the seats were far better than the cruisers. MIke

I'm only 5'10" and I'd like the seat to go back another 1/2-1" so I feel your pain!

Do you have an LC or LX?

You'd hate an 80 then. I'm 6'2" and I had to move the seats in that back 2" to even fit and the 100 feels absolutely great comparatively.

Didn't someone make a seat length extension for the 80? I think Alvaro has it in his 80.

And having no armrest sucks.

100 seats are comfortable for me (at 5' 10")... just wish the heated seats had a higher setting!

Mine get plenty hot but now take, what seems like, an inordinate amount of time (compared to when I got it) to get there.

Mine is comfortable for me since I'm 5'6" but mine takes forever, no really, to get hot. As in, it doesnt heat up at all. :bang:

Travis said the LX seats are way better then the LC. Sorry Zane.

lol, about half the time I'll drive the truck and after 30 minutes be sweating and can't figure out why. Then I realize my wife left the heater on high.

On the LC vs. LX seats (at least in the 80) the foam (and leather) is better.

I put my seat heater switches in backwards (the driver side was on the passenger) and few months ago I was sitting there and started to sweat, wondering why the hell my seat was so hot, I looked over and my friend says "man, your seat heaters suck! My seat is still freezing". Everyday my seat would get hot and I would have to tell people the switches are backwards, they never listened.... every 5 minutes my seat would get hot again.

I have lower back problems and hence the desire for super heated seats. I liked the ones in my VW but VW has also had some problems with their seats catching fire!

FWIW: The heated seats in Sandy's '07 RAV4 get hot and get hot fast. Typically too hot for me. Maybe the grids are available? GM late model trucks & SUV's have real nice seat heaters; some even have lower back/lumbar heat grid too.

i'm 61 and 6'3" with 36" inseam. I find my seats quite comfortable. However, for extra space i wear deck shoes while driving and usually take the left shoe off. When i do that, my left leg will barely reach the floorboard behind the brake. My DC Tundra doesn't have near the room the Cruiser has. In fact, my wife's SLK has more leg room than the Tundra...just no shoulder room.

For me, its a function of the seat bottom being too short. The Ford I drove had a comparatively longer seat bottom, which made a huge difference since my legs were not hanging over the end of the seat as much.
