FJ62 to 100 Series - Land Cruiser Journey Continues

I did the integrated hitch install, which meant cutting into the rear bumper. This is the second rear bumper I have installed in my life, the first being the 4x4labs FJ62 rear bumper. This one (100 series) was much much easier. I had an angle grinder and a Sawzall that I used to make my cuts...

FJ62 to 100 Series - Land Cruiser Journey Continues

I added a larger bump stop to the dissent swing out arm to create more tension outward to help hold it in place. Honestly, the swing arm just flexes a ton with the added weight. I agree that a tightened strap connected to the roof rack would help, not sure I will run that every day as the bikes...

FJ62 to 100 Series - Land Cruiser Journey Continues

Just left it at Denver airport, I’ll load up both bikes and take a pic. The current setup moves a ton though. The dissent swing out arm isn’t rigid enough front to back to keep it from flexing. It’s a bummer, but the Rig’d RambleRack is burly AF.

35 in tires on 100 series.

Got them on and went down to Paonia this weekend. Not any off-roading but zero rubbing so far over droops and turns with drainage ditches. I think they look sweet.

35 in tires on 100 series.

Hey guys - after successfully running Kenda Klever's (35x10.5r17) on Evo Corse 17x8et40 for the past year I am selling those and putting on TRD Rock Warriors with the 1.25" spacers. I will report how a 17x8et18 (after the spacers) works with the 35" Klever. I'll be very bummed if I am back to...

    Group 31 Battery recommendation

So I got my terminals connected. Now it is putting quite a bit of pressure on the hood insulation, enough for me to be concerned about the battery arcing. Working with Juniper Overland in Denver to troubleshoot and think about all of this .. how are you guys fitting these group31 batteries? The...

    SDHQ High Output Alternator

Still looking for feedback on this - my alternator is starting to wain .. between this and Mean Green Alternator, with a REDARC or Victron battery charger manager in between the two to keep from cooking the battery.

Yes, but that 1” less of width helps a lot. I feel like many people on this forum understate the difficulty of fitting 35’s, it sets people up for failure/extra work. I took care of my pinch weld and that was it. Would like to have custom fender liners put in, don’t love that s*** gets against...

I had a hell of a time getting 35x10.5r17 Kenda Klevers on et0 wheels. Gave up and went with et40 which don’t look aggressive enough but I never need to worry about rubbing.

FJ62 to 100 Series - Land Cruiser Journey Continues

Keep the wife and kids warm .. and the big surge is a coffee grinder  Really trying to future proof the set up .. I don't want to go back under the knife here on this truck besides maintenance.

I too have thought about water tank. Wife and three kids under 4 .. stress out the amount of space I have (hence the two 120ah DCS batteries). Which Eco Flow do you use, where does it live in the truck?
