Yeah the IAT on mine sits about 10 degrees above ambient temps on the highway with the ram head on, higher in traffic. I've just switched to the mushroom/cyclone style head yesterday so I'll see what they are now.
I've got one just like that on mine. Fit was great and template wasn't to bad. From the pictures it's the same manufacturer but I purchased mine about 10 years ago. Only installed it last year though. Still looks like new and is parked in the weather all year. I'm happy with it.
When I bought mine years ago I drove about 4 hours to test drive and check it in-person. It was a nice example completely stock with lockers. Coming from a jeep rubicon years earlier I knew I wanted it to have lockers. Was worth the trip/time to be sure it was what I wanted.
I believe this is a diesel engine and the usual suspected oil leaks for the 1fzfe won't apply here. I'm not versed in the 1hd or any diesels from land cruisers so I'm not much help. Sorry.
OK good. I wasn't going to order the center caps when I ordered the wheels by I'll try them to see if they'll fit. They aren't expensive, so if they don't work it's not that big of a deal.
Yeah that's a perfect fit with the -12 offset. Do you have any rubbing at all on the flares? I wouldn't think so since it really doesn't poke out much further than stock wheels. Look great!
Like stated earlier check those front wheel bearings. I just had to tighten mine. I let a shop do the front brake rotors and pads awhile back. I started to notice a pull when braking and at random spots while driving. Front wheel bearings were loose. This is really noticeable if you're on the...
It's a liquid polymer that restores rubber elasticity. It will not fix a seal that is damaged/cracked with missing pieces. If the seal is hardened and has shrinkage it should soften it back up enough to seal. Hoses that are leaking are probably too damaged for this to work and should be...
Stopped my PS leak at the rear seal. I'm still going to replace the pump but this has bought me time until the weather warms. At $25 I figured I'd give it a shot and it worked wonderfully.
Just an FYI I ordered one of these wheels to check fitment. Fit fine on the front and rear, clearing both calipers with room to spare. I'll be ordering the other four soon.
Got that sucker out. Shaft still spun freely so I'm not sure what's up with it. I've got a new one I've had for years to replace it and I'll repair this one for a spare later. Thanks for all the help.
