I have a set of low range transfer case gears for the 93+ 80 Series Land Cruiser / LX450 that I am not going to use on my project. My wife has decided that the 80 is now hers and will not be doing any off road duty other than camping. That said, I have lined up a 60 series and no longer need my transfer case gearing. These are brand new, never installed. High Range Changes from 1.0 to 1.097
Low Range Changes from 2.488 to 2.649. Not a huge jump, but considering they are more of a do-it-youself install than ring & pinions and it changes both low AND hi range for your larger tires, its a pretty sweet setup. The supplier also lists them as fitting the early 100 series.

$700 and I take Paypal at 4wdadventures@gmail.com

This set came from my previous employers importer that brings in items from Japan and Australia. IIRC Marks doesnt change the high range, only the low. I've tried calling them to cross reference them and they refused to give me any "propriatery" information regarding part numbers to verify they are the same ones. This is priced well below cost and I'm a little negotiable.

Terry,

Can one only install the low range gears from this pair? I already have 4.88s in the diffs and with the 315/74R16s that I am running, my RPMS are already up compared to stock. Not quite ready to make the jump to 37s for my LX450.

Best regards,

Its a 3 gear set, including the idler so I dont think it will work that way, For everyone else these are Taiyo Kiko Mfg from Japan.

Terry,

In your opinion, what would be the best tire size and R&P ratio for these gears?

thanks.

My plan was to run them with stock R&P and 35's on my LX450 - you're getting a nearly 10% adjustment in high range with this set before the R&P come into play. When I swapped to 33's I barely noticed a difference.
