Who’s hoarding cruisers in Sterling on 62? Went buy a couple weeks ago and saw a collection of all kinds of cruisers. Would have stopped but was running late.

I know, I’m usually on it! But is your beauty, and your glory! Was great to see you guys, swing by anytime. And garage doors and toolboxes are always open for you guys. Parking spots too, if ever needed.

on it!
Well looks like we missed a few cruisers that day.....didn’t see any of those other than the blue 62. I love that photo with the bumper!! I’ve got some matchbox 40s in the pkg but not a green one! He can drive that thing down the bumper any time! I may take the 40 to the Simsbury show Sunday if you are around.

This yesterday in Colchester CT. It’s amazing. Teeny tiny dually wheels too. I should have blocked out the vanity plate but even that has character.

Needs to rent a power washer…. Nice camper. Dually 14” stick for campers. 15” 6 lug super rare. Only 4wd models.
I don’t get the plate blocking thing, never have. I see thousands of license plates on my commute daily. What would a picture do?

Idk. Just seems like an instance of privacy and w/o asking it’s inappropriate.

Spotted this truck and met the owner a month or so back, near Newport, RI. Nice guy. Truck belonged to his late brother.

Owner told me it has a "1.5F" engine, which he described as a slightly different version of the 1F mated to a stock 4 speed on the floor.

Dude that truck is the perfect truck in my eyes. Old enough, pre 73, still tells its stories, has its scars of life, useable beauty. Nice. Lots of it speaks 72 to me, but f.5 was 74/maybe early 75 iirc. Factory at least. He must have switched drivetrain. But isn’t hat an older air cleaner housing? I’ll have to zoom in on pics, but that isn’t a 74 color I don’t think. Relooked, those doors and f.5 never came together from factory. PO must have swapped drivetrain along the way. I’m partial to that color, my dads first 40, a 72 he bought in 73, was that same blue.

60 series and derelict 40 in Wenatchee, WA. Was there visiting an old friend, saw lots of cool adventure rigs / vans, and a few Land Cruisers.

Seemed like endless dirt roads heading up into the mountains. Pretty cool area, aside from the whole "fire season" that's intensifying there.

Just realized there are regional sections on mud. Here are some that I've come across:

80-series at the Wrentham outlets in Dec. 2023:

80-series while walking around Salem in Oct. 2023:

Looks like an FZJ70 or similar from the middle east or SA being dropped off at Dundalk, Baltimore:

Ran into this FJ40 up in northern NH in 2021:
