Can someone post pics to the fuse block connectors, not attached to the fuseblock?

Looking for pics showing the black, green and white connectors and the locating pin tabs. Are the black and green the same except for the color, or is the tab offset differently?

Thanks!

I know this may not be exactly what you're looking for, but I had these saved from when I was fixing a melted wire on mine. If memory serves I believe there's a locking tab on the black and green that only allows them to plug in one way. These are all 75-76 era.

I have a Jan. 1972 FJ40

The connectors each have a locating pin in a unique position. They can not be swapped or flipped. The Tab offset is different.

I’m in the process of reproducing with Yazaki the green, black and small natural connectors (among others).

Of note, I just reproduced the black barrel PCB board 12p connector.

In the images above, the offset connector tab is the same dimensions but in different location. Note the tab clip is also different. If anyone should need these connectors in the future, please let me know.

I have some used ones I just pulled out of my 73 if anyone needs them pm me.
Can you post an image or two of the connectors from your 73? I want to see if they have the same tab as shown in post #3 in this thread.

73 would have the same green and black plugs paul

The 1972 connectors have a different tab that has no “clip”. Do you know when that connector type was introduced and stopped for the clip type as shown in my drawing?

@ToyotaMatt You are showing fuses and the insulator when the post is about the electrical connectors that connect to the fuse panel?

From 1971 - 1978 FJ40’s used the same fuse box OEM #82600-60901. What do you mean by “high end” glass fuse boxes? The fuse boxes that I’ve seen on all 1974 - 1978 FJ40’s have all used glass fuses.

My question is pertaining to the “clip“ on the end of the fuse box connectors. As shown in post #3, the below black fuse box connector is different than the ones in my post. See blue circle below and compare to the black fuse box connector Image.

I am wondering if 1972, 1973 fuse box connectors were designed differently? Clearly the “clip” solves the problem of shaking the connector loose while driving off road.

Thanks to @Mopdog, I was able to take a close up look at the fuse block connectors from a 1973 FJ40. Below are the images. The connectors on the right of the comparison images for later model 1974+.
