You should at least pull out the old ones for inspection and comparison to the new Ts. You would not see any cracks in the part of the T that you can see. Cracks would be inside the hoses. Riding around with the new Ts is not a good plan. You could be risking your engine.
I hear what you say. will do and will post the side by side photos I have been asked for.
 
Dan there a lot more material in the center and I'm sure the walls of the pipe is thinner. Grab one of your shelf and see what you think. My feeling is the original ones in there are as good as the new.

I haven't had a shelf in over three years. I retired in April 2016. :doh:
 
I pulled mine and they had some signs of breakdown, but weren't brittle or anything. Still, I replaced with Toyota plastic tees and all new hoses. New were exactly like the old ones. They looked perfect before I pulled them, the breakdown is the part inside the hoses that you can't see. If you have them, might as well replace them. At least you will know if they are the correct or not, even if you don't replace.
