This is actually a nice item to delete.... I will be looking into this in a week or so tim since I have taken mine out of the air path (so my engine turn off is quite "shakey" now) to allow full benefit of the performance turbo and chip.

If your interested or havent solved it, I will let you know how I go.

p1420 intake constrictor ctrl open or short" -was there a solution to this error. I have it on my 100 series after replacing the aircon condenser... I suspect may have touched something to set it off.
