After approximately 6,000 miles I finally threw in the towel and removed my Nitto Trail Grapplers because of excessive noise. The tires looked great on the truck but I just couldn't stand the noise.

The Nitto's were MT's while the Toyo's are AT's. Hopefully that will make a difference.Toyo and nitto are the same tire. You are likely going to get noise from those too.
In my case I went from the stock Dunlop to A/T Toyos which are considerably loud by comparison. From what I hear on the forum and toyota the KO2 are much quieter than the Toyos. It doesn't matter what brand the tire is. Going from M/T to A/T is going to be more quiet experience with better uniformity.
