After approximately 6,000 miles I finally threw in the towel and removed my Nitto Trail Grapplers because of excessive noise. The tires looked great on the truck but I just couldn't stand the noise.

Toyo and nitto are the same tire. You are likely going to get noise from those too.
The Nitto's were MT's while the Toyo's are AT's. Hopefully that will make a difference.

I have the Toyos and also notice the humming as it gets louder over 60mph. Can't wait to put on the KO2s.

It doesn't matter what brand the tire is. Going from M/T to A/T is going to be more quiet experience with better uniformity.

In my case I went from the stock Dunlop to A/T Toyos which are considerably loud by comparison. From what I hear on the forum and toyota the KO2 are much quieter than the Toyos.

BFG...making fairly quiet MTs since back in the 80s.

One benefit of running Swampers for years, everything else is quiet.
