    just installed the new t-stat in and so far so good :clap:, drove around several times today after the truck sat for a while and the gauge doesn't move anymore past about 1/4 way up, heater blows nice and warm, so im happy. next up in the following month will be a tune up/ base line the fluids...

    maybe, although im positive i installed it the right way (jingle valve up and facing towards the radiator) tomarrow im going to drain the coolant out again and and take out the t-stat housing and double check to make sure its in the right direction and see where it goes from there.:meh:

    so i just bought a 92 p/u w/ the 22re (196k) and decide to drain the coolant since it looked kinna dirty and replaced the t-stat w/ a toyota one while i was at it, anyways all seems good except when i 1st start it after it's sat for a while and drive with the heater on then the gauge starts...
