I am trying to be patient for the 1.5". My rationale for this is that with my 35s, I touch on full stuff in the rear. I figure that the 1" will get me just right with 35s. However I would like to go 37s for my next tire.

Will the 1” or the 1.5” kit be ready first? You know I’m leaning towards the larger of the two, but…. 🤪

I second the Chinese handhelds especially if you’re not going to get licensed. BUT, you have plenty of time to get licensed and install a real radio in your rig permanently. I have the Chinese ones mentioned as well as this Icom hard-mounted. Better in every way except walking around with it.

If I could do it again, knowing what I know now including my desire to allow my OCD to run rampant and match all 7 wheels/tires, I would likely have gone with the M101A3 like you did. That’s why you got lucky going from a 6 to a 5 lug pattern. Much easier from what I’m being told.
