I have now been baptized by grease and dirt. I am one with my Troopy. Learned a lot, cleaned everything up, put it back together and much to my surprise, IT ALL WORKS!!
What was most surprising is how much resistance was in those fronts. Before I could barely push it on level ground. Now...
Sounds good! I'm in no rush. I love the look of my soft top, but there are times when fully enclosed would be great.

What's the plan for the old hard top? Reason I ask, is that I have a soft top, and there are times I wish I had a hard top. Think camping in heavy bear country and winter. If it's looking for a nice home, I might be very interested.

It the original 4.2L 2F. It clean, tight and runs well. Had to replace manifold gasket to fix a small exhaust leak, but gained a bunch of power after that!
Let's just say there is no way it would pass California emissions.:) Not smog equip on this unit.
