My daughter just hit a deer. Insurance did not total vehicle after a $3500 estimate. Adjuster predicts supplements could reach $7,000 before he would total. With WV law allowing total losses at 75%, I expect he's looking at a market report showing a value of $9333 or more...
@kevin2i: how inn the world did you remove the valve at the canister from the canister frame? I inspected the part and looked at pictures of the part from Partsouq and that sucker seems to be built into the assembly? At least on my '05. I would love to replace that valve without replacing the...
I've been getting the P2418 code, and occasionally the P0446. Inspected the charcoal canister valve and I've got a lot of corrosion around it so it is suspect. But as far as I can tell, from inspecting the part and looking at picture of it on Partsouq, the valve is built into the canister such...
Searching that code on google turned up the diagnostic sequence. With that code, the issue is either the wiring, the camera, or the head unit. Removed the camera unit and cleaned up the connectors. Plugged it back in and its fully functioning.
I too am having display issues, but mine is a black screen when in reverse, without even the warning at the bottom.
@yosh2000, did you ever locate the camera ECU? I found the nav ECU under the passenger seat. The wiring diagraam and parts diagrams are tough to read on where the television or...
My NAV screen just started going black when I put it in reverse. No message at the bottom to be aware of surroundings, no garbled image, just black.
From the parts diagram, it looks like there is a separate parking control module, possibly under the driver's seat, that is distinct from the DVD...
Closing the loop on this: dealer dropped the pan and tested solenoids. They were within spec. Because of amount of shavings in pan, and age of transmission and expense of valve body, dealer recommends skipping messing with the valve body and replacing the transmission.
I'm glad I pushed them...
Dealer wants $235 to drop the pan and test solenoids. Master tech thinks I'm crazy because "in 20 years he's never seen that fix one." I told them to do it anyway.
I would love to find testimonials of folks who solved their problems with a solenoid replacement. I've searched this forum and messaged members who said they've previously had the P2714 code. I've not found anyone.
05LC100 with 165K miles. Transmission slips on start from stop and occasionally throws P0771 and P2714 codes, the latter accompanied by limp mode.
Dealership recommends replacing the transmission. I'm going to try to get them to match the McGeorge price on the reman transmission. Their labor...
