I have the Man-a-fre 6 to 1 and it was a pain trying to get it to seal. It will take you some time puting it on and off but i think it is worth the money to get the two piece. I would recommend 2 gaskets though.
putting a MC on is real easy. i would not skip the bench bleeding it will save you time. It will take about 30 min to change the whole MC or less. Make you you have two people it will make it a lot easier.
when i first got my 40 it had a worn out engine and a carb that needed a lot of work. We just put a Weber 38/38 on it and i can easily get up to speed and accerlerate faster. I would highly recommend the Weber 38/38

i am wanting to put an offenhauser intake on my 1978 FJ40 but i can't find one for a 78. Does anyone know were to find one or were to purchase one. I have a 2 barrel weber and i have heard that it will work with the offenhauser. thanks Wes.
