Related, but not entirely:
Does anyone notice that the fog lights (LC250 LC trim - square headlights) bounce and wiggle when driving at night on rough roads? We've been noticing that the beam vibrates when driving on dirt roads.
Turned off the fog lights and noticed the regular headlights...
Thanks for the suggestion -- it's for my partner's LC250, so she's set on finding a set of OEM as she already has the roof rails and wants to keep it that OEM look.
Yes, I'd totally be willing to let them go. I have all of the takeoff parts sitting in my garage.
Send me a DM and I can get these over to you.
@CactusHopper I believe I ordered all of these parts from Toyota of Long Beach, CA even though I live out of state -- they had the lowest prices at...
I forget exactly which bolt it was (it was a small one) but I didn't order enough of them and had to run to Ace hardware to get something similar -- it wasn't a critical part but it did it's job.
I think I was short 4 of these tiny bolts.
Yes, sure thing -- I did EVERYTHING minus covering up the mounts for the 3rd row with new seats (as I wanted to have that option should I ever need to re-install them).
Here are a few photos of the whole thing -- can share part numbers if someone wishes to copy
- oem tonneau
- changed cup...
I've done this a while ago -- but I converted my regular LC200, to the Heritage trunk (rear seat delete) with all OEM parts to make it factory.
Can share pics if anyone is interested -- was fairly easy to do and costs circa $800 in parts
Saw this for sale on my local FB marketplace and wanted to share for anyone interested as this seems like a solid deal.
Not affiliated with these guys in any way — sharing for those here who might one of these.
Thanks for reminding me I need to get one of these.
In your experience, worth buying the legitimate Mongoose cable or is one of these knock-offs sufficient? Happy to buy oem as I'll keep this thing forever.
Check tirerack for sensors and a programmer tool.
I run two different tpms sets and reprogram every season with a tool I picked up for $100 from TR. works for both my ‘19 and my wife’s 21 taco. I do have to use a laptop to reupload the codes to the device but it’s easy and only takes a min or two
I’ve had a similar thing happen in my 2019 a few times over the last 2 years — but mine resets after restarting the car, or if I wait approx 10-15 seconds, I get my screen back.
Btw, I have no idea the value of either of these so shoot me an offer if you need either.
Totally willing to see someone use these rather than have them sit in my garage.
