I'm curently contemplating something similar myself. Currently have the stock LX shorter roof rack and looking at mounting either a Rhino Foxwing (approx 40lbs) or a OVS 270 (approx 72lbs). I'm worried as I don't have a full length roof rack, it'll either be too heavy or I risk my future mounts...
