Well, I finally got around to putzing with it yesterday. Put a battery in it, lifted the air cleaner a bit, gave it a shot of ether and whammo, it fired right up and ran smoothly. Not bad, considering the gasoline in it was very old, at least 2 years maybe 5, I can't remember. Of course there...

Not much at the moment other than just get it useable. If I could find a tub at a decent price, I'd fix it up so it would be much nicer. I want to keep it as stock as possible. All if time permits, so who knows, I may sell.

I'm John, a bit old. I have a '76 FJ40 that I've had for about 25 years. 2nd owner and the 1st owner was a friend. I remember when he got it. It's basically stock, but rusty. Everything is pretty much intact. It has a Warn 8274 winch which was on it when I got it and I added Warn lockout hubs...
