    @kirvesmies thanks for the help. I just did a bit more digging, and it looks like I need to find a type 2 inspection station, not type 6. Type 6 is for salvage vehicles. It seems that the truck just has to pass the safety inspection.

    Has anyone ever had an issue where door locks and ignition seem to open/start with any key you put in there? My drivers door, ignition, and tailgate will work with pretty much anything i put in there. I talked to a locksmith and he quoted $150 per lock. I don't really have ~$750 laying around...
