According to tech specs, the LC 250s range up to 5575 lb curb weight depending upon options and trim. I am curious to know the origins of the 5037 lb value published on the website.
LC250 curb and gross weights from tech stream data earlier posted on (then removed from) this forum are here:

Those data show curb weights up to 5575 lbs.
It's refreshing for a review to be predicated in part on payload. It's often not even mentioned. But the payload he cites (from Toyota's website) is several hundred pounds more than what was published on tech stream data.
I've ridden in them loaded and unloaded. They're built to carry loads, and, just like a touring bicycle, they are a bit rude unloaded (owing mostly to rear leafs) but soften up considerably when used as designed (carrying a load).
An alternative view is that a Land Cruiser like the 250, which Toyota advertising touts for its “expedition” capabilities, should also be rated to carry a heavier load than, like, a Kia Sorrento.
Yeah, it’s a lot of juice and I think an under-appreciated feature that I expect we’ll hear *a lot* more about once these trucks get out into the world. It’ll make electrified camping a breeze—fridge, stove, etc.
Yeah. The fact that the hybrid four produces so much torque—and more torque than the six—had me convinced that it would receive the bigger diff. Hence my surprise when the opposite was true. I still don’t understand this, and look forward to learning why.
