I have used the MK3 mini-blade for a couple years while running a single AGM battery, and it has worked great. During the hottest couple months of summer, I reinstall the factor fuse out of an abundance caution (for the welfare of my battery) since I spend a lot of time in slow, hot metro...
I recall a couple very convincing posts from a couple years back arguing that that increased resistance from corroded connections to the electric motor are the primary cause for motor failures. I believe @2001LC subtly referenced this issue in his earlier post (@2001LC, were you the author of...
Wasn't expecting that benefit, but I'll take it!
In case you were wondering, I installed an AGM battery 8 months ago, several months before the fuel gauge started to act up.
For over a year, it was impossible to sufficiently tighten my screw to keep it from slowly backing out. I eventually lost the screw, and based on my past discussion with the parts guy at a local Toyota dealership and old posts on here, it was clear the screw was not available from Toyota.

For me, it was a warped rear disc, which I suspected was caused by a dragging pad. My case was much more pronounced during the last 20 to 40 feet of braking.
EDIT: It didn't feel like the pulsing was coming from the rear. Like you, it mostly presented through the steering wheel.
I hear you, though I note my LC wasn't experiencing any other issues I associate with a bad battery. It was cranking the engine just fine at startup, lights weren't dimming, etc.
I just dealt with this issue. I dug out my old laptop with Windows XP and Techstream (which took 3 hours to get it to boot) and went to work diagnosing the situation.
Nothing was making sense. Several error codes that didn't appear to bear any relationship to one another. One code concerned a...
I've had my 100 series for about a year now and read this forum regularly for some time before I purchased my LC. It is my impression that the list of OEM parts that are no longer available for the 100 series is gradually increasing, which shouldn't be much of a surprise to anyone.
I plan to...
I haven't had an occasion to take a seat cover off yet, and without doing that, it can be fairly hard to distinguish between a utilitarian type leather and a faux leather.
It was definitely the seatbelt latch that was causing the squeaking, or more specifically where the seatbelt latch hinges to move frontward and backward. I just sprayed a bit of lubricant on the hinge, moved it back and forth a few times, and the squeak went away.
This may be the worst possible approach for driving a newly acquired car home from out of state. Using tags from one car on another car is a somewhat serious criminal infraction, and there is no need for it. Driving a newly acquired car without tags is a non-issue as long as you are following...
