If that joint runs dry you risk having to replace your steering rack, which is way more expensive that just the boot. Sealant kits, tape, etc never hold, I'd recommend just replacing the boot.

That's your steering rack boot. Replacement boots are available, got to dig in a little to get to it.

This isn't Google. What warning light? CEL? If so, what code?

Wood trim, peel them off and leave it or get a similar kit on Ebay. Console, see if one of the several leather upholstery suppliers here sells just that.

Did you try partssouq as suggested, it's VIN based so not much chance of getting the wrong part.

If you're pulling the rad because it's damaged you'll have plenty of room.

Just pads are pretty easy on these, if you're even a little mechanically inclined Toyota made accessing the pads very easy. That said, front pads parts cost is probably $80, maybe 1-2 hours of labor billed, so maybe $3-400. Rotors is another...

Been hauling 3 kids for years in a 60, then 80, then 100. I will say, once they get into teen years, the love of the 3rd row dies fast with very little leg room. As for which model, buy the newest LC you can afford.

Review the classifieds to see what pricing is like and there's many threads on purchasing inspections.

Then either/both your bolt and captive nut are stripped. You can try chasing the threads with a tap and die or just try a new bolt, easy to match at a hardware store.

Are you able to thread the bolt in without the arm rest there?

Put the hooked end of the spare tire tool into that slot and turn.

I bought a Come-up Seal 2.0 12k, to replace a warn with old solenoids, it's been fantastic. Bought it through Cruiser Outfitters.

The 98-02 ARB Deluxe uses a feet down winch and the '03+ uses a feet forward winch. Although made in Taiwan, I would suggest Come-Up winches. And if you are in the swamp a lot, I would give heavy consideration to waterproof ratings.

Is it the ABS or the VSC? Are there lights on the dash? Is this mountain road dirt/gravel?

Factory Toyota batteries are made by Panasonic. Toyota TrueStart batteries are made by Interstate, which is also Johnson and now Clarios. And they also have an excellent warrant. I buy those or from Costco. OP, for your issue I'd look at both...

Any more info other than "it's bad"? I ask because more than a few times someone's shop has reported their tranny is shot and it's ended up being a drive flange/CV.
