I will play with it and see if the blower wheel can be removed and reinstalled backwards. Even if it blows into the compartment, the additional airflow will be welcome to help keep the 6.2 cooling correctly in the heat of the desert. Thanks for the input!

That's the direction it blows, out thru the fender louver. I think it will help significantly when it gets over 110 degree's here.

I thought it was a manifold cooling fan. Could be carb, but my cruiser was FI.

Hey guys. I just put a 6.2l in '89 FJ62. On the drivers side interior fender is an exhaust fan that comes on to help cool the engine compartment. When the guys pulled the engine bay apart, they did not mark the temperature relay that runs the fan. I have a Chiltons book, but the wiring diagrams...

I have owned for several years. Just finished a 6.2l upgrade with a 6l80 with a 3" lift on BFG 35's. All Pro bumpers and sliders with a new interior from SOR. I still have original gears while I am waiting on a set from Motive to get cut in 3.56. Very close to completion.

I do still have the motor and trans. $ 1500.00

I will have less that 17k in the swap of the LS3 into my '89 cruiser. That includes the cost of the motor and trans with duel exhaust, mated back into the original transfer case. The swap of this motor has been fine tuned, without any major surprises. I will post pics in a week or so.

I have my '89 cruiser under the knife now. I am going with the 2010, LS3 with the 6 speed auto. I can't wait to see how "slow" it is. I will also appreciate the added fuel mileage. Should have it back in a week. Will look a little different with the 35's under it!

I just removed a 3FE with auto trans from my '89 cruiser. It was running good when it came out. Has an oil leak @ the pan that should be easily fixed before you put it back in. It has 187,000 on it. $ 1500.00 and you pay for shipping, which should be a couple of hundred to SoCal from Phoenix...
