Slapped some paint on her! Nearly done, just have to paint over the primer on the wheels and mount the tent. Here's what I picked up to stabilize the rear of the trailer when camping.

I cut out all the seam sealer spots that were bad and re-sealed everything. then I flipped the trailer upside down and ground down the rusty areas and painted those areas. I could have probably done a better job underneath but it was in pretty good shape with a thick rubber coating and I didn't...

local guy in a cruiser had a run in with cop in mission reguarding gun transport.

It is completely legal to drive around with a unloaded, unlocked, rifle in your vehicle. Heck, when I lived in Kamloops my rifle would sit in the passenger seat all the way through town on my way to go hunting, through Tim hortons and everything. However, the lower mainland is a different breed...

    Replacement Shocks & Bushings.

FYI. If you order the bushings from SOR. Make sure you order 12 of them, turns out a bushing is two pieces.

So I've currently got the trailer flipped over and there is some peeling paint with rust underneath on the frame. I have wire wheel brushed it and am planning on painting it with Tremclad (rustoleum), is this a good plan or should I be using something like POR-15? There is more good paint then...

    Replacement Shocks & Bushings.

Napa response # 94038 is the replacement shocks from NAPA. I don't know about the SOA and the shock length, but I believe it's the same. They are about 30 bucks each. I am also interested in knowing the replacement bushings.

Polished the taillight lenses and painted them, came out well. Not decided on a final colour for the trailer, but hopefully black taillights work. Got the trailer back from the sandblaster today. They did a really good job, got under the fenders and even the axel and spots under the trailer...

While the trailer is getting sandblasted, I thought I'd keep working on the small stuff. I took apart the triangle reflector, sanded the rust, worked out the bends in the metal and then painted with tremclad. Look as-new as I could get them, I know they are irreplaceable. Next up is to...

I took it to a couple places and got quotes in the $800 plus range for blasting and primer. I called up quik-shot truck body refinishers in Langley www.quikshotbc.com, and Rick there said he had done one before and quoted around $300-500 sanded and with an industrial primer they use on...

    canadian spec military trailer

I read somewhere (don't remember where) that the issue was with the lugs and getting the nuts done up properly. it was either a hub centric vs lug centric problem or something with the lugs not being long enough. In hindsight I don't really need the trailer wheels to match my truck as long as I...

I actually had been talking with him about doing a lid and stuff for mine. Hopefully get it to him in a month or two. I just took it to a shop that is sandblasting and priming it for a great price. I choose just to do the outside and tub instead of ripping it all apart and doing the underneath...
