    FJ45 Instrument Cluster

Hey Joe, you may want to install a starter relay. I had a 2h that I was having starting issues with for a couple of months. I tried a rebuilt starter and a multitude of other used starters until I decided to add a relay to the system. After the relay, it has not had any issues since during the...

    corner glass question

I have a couple of pairs of 45 windows I would sell if you'd rather get one on the continent rather than South Africa. The ones I have have some scratches and what looks to be welding slag. I think there is most likely one out of the four that would be in good condition. I could dig them out and...

    79 fj45 headlights help please

The thing in your hand in the picture is a horn. It is not part of the headlamp system . It should not be affecting them at all. If the park and reverse lights are flashing instead of the signals you may have them wired incorrectly? Sometimes LED's will not work if you have the positive and the...

I'm in Canada but I have many of those that I could ship to you. FYI the 60 series axles are the same on the short side.

    1969 fj40 3fe cylinder head on 2f block project

I prefer mechanical fans. You will find that in high temperature settings the mechanical fan will outperform the electric one. Not worth the small bit of performance enhancement an electric fan will yield. What is the main reason you went to electric fan?

    Bikersmurf’s 40

I would focus more on shocks than your steering dampener. They will benefit you more. You don't actually need that part if your steering is setup properly. I haven't had one for decades.

    RockGoat Version 3RZ

If you have a saginaw p-pump handy you can see how easy it is to mount in the stock ps pump bracket. A little opening of the holes and it'll mount right up. If you use a serpentine pulley from Dorman, you can get the belt to ride in the middle of the wider serpentine pulley (6 row pulley as...

[Edited] I f***ed my birfield by it to set the axlehammering past the oil seal, screwed it up.

There is no way the trunion pins can come into contact with the birfield when they are tightened down and the flat spots are lined up properly. You assume your housing is not bent because both sides were equally hard to get installed. Maybe Both sides are bent? I have lots of stock shafts I'd be...

[Edited] I f***ed my birfield by it to set the axlehammering past the oil seal, screwed it up.

If it was that hard to get then birf to go in then you most likely have a bent axle housing. You should also install the inner axle into the birfield before you put the whole assy into the axle housing. You will have a very hard time getting any birf onto the axle after the inner is installed...

Thread showing pics of no-flare 80s?

Here is one I removed then flares on a couple of years ago. One thing I have noticed is there is a lot more stuff thrown up off the tires that ends up on the sides of the truck. I really do like the look though.

    Strapping a vehicle down.

I tow my 40 series buggy always . I prefer to use a chain in the rear as I feel if I have an emergency stop a chain is better than a strap as far as rating goes. I also prefer to use straps on the front but I cross them over in an x pattern as it helps with them coming loose if travelling down...
