    2F serial number info...

For my FJ45 LWB Middle East spec recently purchased on BAT and supposedly recently imported from Oman. Frame 318441 Engine 2F 625063 Titled as 1982, any help decoding these numbers would be appreciated. Engine seems to fit the spreadsheet for 1982 but frame number is confusing as far as...

    Importing FJ45 from Canada

Can anyone confirm what the tariff or import duty will be if I purchase a 1977 FJ45 Pick-Up in Canada and import it to the U.S.? Is it 2% or 25%? Does NAFTA eliminate the 25% pick-up truck tariff? Thank you for any assistance. Tom

Considering buying a 1975 FJ with a 1H—general advice appreciated

Thanks all. The truck was candidly described to me as having a 1H that was dog slow. 😄 This is a pickup BTW so domestic models not readily available. Your comments remind me of a 3 cylinder Suzuki mini pickup my brother was able to import while he was in the Coast Guard. Going up hills, we...

Considering buying a 1975 FJ with a 1H—general advice appreciated

I am looking at a 1975 FJ45 imported from Costa Rica described as having a 1H engine. I was not particularly looking for a diesel, and know little about them. I have read through the FAQs and am now looking for some general guidance on vehicles with this engine. What should I be looking for...

    A/C Condensor question

Anyone know if the A/C components are the same for 94-97? and are they same for those years for the LX450? More specifically, do these years use the same condensor and discharge hose/fittings? Thank you. Tom

    BJ40 Buyers Guide?

Thanks guys for the very helpful responses. An added concern for me is that I have never owned a diesel if any kind before nor obviously a vehicle with a 24 volt system. Lots to consider. I am starting in on the FAQ which I didn’t even think to look at but should have. Thanks. Tom

    BJ40 Buyers Guide?

Is there a thread with info re what to look for when buying a BJ40? In my search for an FJ restoration project I came across a 1980 BJ40 imported from Europe that I might consider buying. I have not seen the vehicle yet. It has the 3.0 B engine. Any known issues specific to the diesel...

I apologize, I meant to state that I am looking for a pick-up, long wheelbase preferred but would consider the right short-bed.

Ordered KOYO C1917 Radiator but received PR1917K

Here is one update. I need to order a replacement radiator, found this thread, went to the go-parts website and clicked on Koyo C1917 radiator and got the message: "Product not found." They do however still sell the cheaper replacement for $153. Anyone know if this radiator is still being...
