Engine, gearbox, transfer case armor: What & Where to buy online?

Hello, I would like to fit an armor protection underneath the engine, gearbox and transfer case. It seems the offer in France is limited. So, would you recommend a web store (with international shipping) where I could buy such items for my 2005 LC100? Thank you

[AHC] High pressure values: what to do?

Thanks. My LC has no mods and I don't intend to carry heavy loads at all time. From what you wrote me, airbags seem to be what I need.

Adjusting Torsion Bar with AHC questions.

I spent 2 days last week adjusting the pressure within the system (using techstream). I adjusted both sides equally and I also noticed the right side was easier to tighten than the other one.

[AHC] High pressure values: what to do?

Thanks for your feedback of the airbags and your advises. Actually, I would need these airbargs to relief the ahc and reduce the risk of failure. Maybe a higher model than yours, as you suggest, would be even more efficient and would allow more flexibility. Do you keep an air compressor on...

Where is the headlight (low) relay?

I own a 2005 HDJ100 (diesel 4.2). I can see clips on the fuse box but some of them are hard to 'unclip'. So before I try to take appart the upper fuse box and look what is underneath I would like to be sure if I have a chance to find the relay in question.

Where is the headlight (low) relay?

Hi, The low headlights aren't working on both sides. I suspect the relay (bulbes and fuses are ok) but I am not to know where it is. The toyota diagram shows it is the S relay: I wonder how to access to this one: Do I need to unclip the upper box (where all fuses [and some relays]...

[AHC] High pressure values: what to do?

Ok, so the air bags fitting seams to be the best option. Do you have some on your HDJ? Regarding the torsion bars tuning (and in order to give my feedback on it), I have finally tighten it by 1.75 turns which now gives the following pressures: - Front: 6.6 MPa (Toyota specs: 6.4 - 7.4MPa) -...

[HDJ100] Toyota service: What to do?

I thought the 'air bags' were a sort of black humor (AHC fails, I crash the car, I need air bags... :whoops: )

[AHC] High pressure values: what to do?

I will try to tighten a bit more the torsion bars and flush the hydraulic system. Since I need to carry heavy load, uHu suggests to replace stock springs by stiffer ones. I have no clue on which ones I could buy. Any suggestion?

[HDJ100] Toyota service: What to do?

Thanks uHu! What kind of reinforced springs would you go for? What do you mean by 'air bags'?

[AHC] High pressure values: what to do?

ah ok! But will it increase the rear pressure by 0.2MPa per turn?

[AHC] High pressure values: what to do?

I have tighten both torsion bars (1 full bolt turn on both sides). Unfortunately it doesn't change much the pressure values (-0.2 MPa at the front, +0.2MPa at the rear) :( Now the pressures are: - Front: 7.4 MPa (Toyota specs: 6.4 - 7.4MPa) - Rear: 6.6 MPa (Toyota specs: 5.6 - 6.7MPa) The...
