Quick question: One of the flathead screws that holds the carb together has a hole in it all the way through, like a breather. Where does this screw go? Had I noticed the screw with the hole when dissassembling the carb I'm sure I would have noted it's position. Thanks guys!

I would imagine that it would match the load of the factory gauge (yes, stock gauge). I'll have to test it out. Strange thing though: When you first turn on the FJ, it reads normally. Then after a few moments it pegs to way past full. Perhaps something is awry. I have a couple spare stock...

Update! So it's been a little over a month. I'm pretty pleased with my "progress" so far considering all the other things I've been doing as well as trying to keep up with the FJ. Replaced: -Speedo Cable (then broke, faultly, then CCOT sent me the wrong replacement, gotta send it back)...

OMG my carter electric is loud. It's mounted to the firewall too. And I think it's pushing the float level too much since it's always at the very top or past the sight window on my F 2 barrel carb. I think I'll be going back to the stocker very shortly.
