Denso 477-0603 condenser includes receiver / drier ?

You could try epoxy. Occasionally that works in stationary refrigeration as a temporary fix. You can’t have any oil of any kind on the surface to be successful

Denso 477-0603 condenser includes receiver / drier ?

I would check Denso's website as well. My memory is that the cruisers with rear A/C have a bigger condenser. My 03 does (2001 or maybe 2003 I think rear A/C was standard)

Anyone ever get the rear wheel bearing seal covers off?

Thanks -- I ended up reassembling them as-is.

Anyone ever get the rear wheel bearing seal covers off?

Ok...Before I ask...I know....You aren't supposed to do this. I have almost new wheel bearings (10K miles) and unfortunately, I had ongoing axle seal issues (think it's solved -- used FIPG between seal and the inner race of the axle). I'm not sure how much oil it takes to "wash out the...

Am I putting the seal in backwards?

Yes that’s exactly where this saga began. I put a locker in and “while it’s apart, I might as well have the bearings replaced”. Took the right and left assemblies to the dealer and I later found they don’t have the tools to follow the FSM for positioning the seal wipe ring. Paid way too much...

    2000 LX470 Starter # Help

Did you check partsouq with your VIN? I'm curious what the indications of failure are? They are kind of a bear to get out from what I understand and always wondered how I'd know if that project was imminent.

    AC issues

High side AC is probably much too high. You should be checking high side with engine at around 1500rpm (not idle speed / 700 rpm). Typically ambient temps in the 80s/very low 90s will have a high side of 190-230. Either overcharged or you aren't getting good enough airflow across the...

Am I putting the seal in backwards?

Thanks! Yeah I’ve ordered a proper seal installer tool as well just be be sure. Also going to use a little Mr T Orange sealant on the race surfaces that the seal goes into just be be sure.

Am I putting the seal in backwards?

Sorry for the total newbie question. Rear axle seal on 2003 LX. Trying to figure out why it went from not leaking to leaking badly after I replaced the seals. They are OEM seals. Any chance they are supposed to go in the other direction??

    275/70/18 Question about tire weight

You won't overstress anything on a land cruiser with the larger tires. Look at the suspension parts and then go look at lesser vehicles running similar sizes. Cruisers are just overbuilt. Some brands / types of tires may be 10-15 pounds lighter but that comes directly out of carcass...

Denso 477-0603 condenser includes receiver / drier ?

Hey guys Discovered the AC leak in my 2003 LX is the condenser and not the compressor. Parts on back order (no biggie...AC works, just has to be topped off periodically) and hoping someone can confirm that Denso 477-0603 includes the receiver drier and I do not have to also order Denso...

Easy way to drain transmission fluid

My Sequoia has the 6 speed transmission version. It has a thermostat that has to be locked open on the transmission for this procedure to work. I don't know if newer 100 series also have this or if it's unique to Gen 2 Sequoia/Tundra. If you don't get a good flow of fluid right away, start...

Easy way to drain transmission fluid

I still have a dipstick/fill tube so my fill procedure is slightly different than you. The main difference is I found it wasn't necessary to disconnect the power steering cooler whereas the FSM says it has to be done. Power steering system uses ATF as well (although they say Dextron vs Type...
