Why did you tie the roll cage back into the tub where you did? That would serve no purpose in a roll, unless of course there is some type of mount/plating we arent seeing.

Go 3.4 and dont look back. Sure, IFS isn't the most desirable but a old 3.0 isn't exactly reliable bullet proof. I'd rather have the 3.4 than a SA in your case. With driving skills you will be just fine to go where you want..I put one in my 85 and it's a totally different vehicle now.
