Honestly, I don’t know the answer to that. The place that I got my harness and computer from also supplied the pedal. I opted for the corvette pedal specifically because of the metal arm. I don’t know if they included a different connector or if that’s a standard GM item.

🤣 Not trying to be negative amigo, just trying to understand if there’s some advantage to the 95-97 m.c. That I don’t know about.

I have a Gen V L83 in mine, but used a 09-13 corvette pedal (GM 19417903). I cut off the "pedal" portion and welded on the lower section of my stock 80 pedal so it at least looks proper.

That P/N is a stock replacement for a 95-97 80 series. What am I missing here? What advantage would it have over your existing m.c.?

Thanks for the kind offer, but I’m really after the third member housing and yoke.

If you would consider shipping, please let me know. I could really use those front diff parts (the housing ring and pinion anyways). Thanks Nate

Thank you! I have an L83 + 6L80 in mine and am just at the point of needing to connect things. The sensor is mounted but I need to carry on with the wiring. I spoke with Dakota Digital and they were hesitant to say that it would power incandescent bulbs. Thanks for confirming!

@tucken72 , does your Dakota Digital GSS-3000 power the incandescent bulbs of the gear position indicator, or did you have to switch to LED's?

Sounds like you may have gotten the power brake Corvette master cylinder, which is 1-1/8"

If your mounting studs measure 3-3/8", check into a 1970 corvette master cylinder for a MANUAL brake application. It'll have a 1" bore and should have the 3-3/8" mounting dimension. Dorman M36367 or similar.

One thing that may help, is to measure the width of the MC mounting studs. It’s likely either 3-1/4” on centers, or 3-3/8”. The tandom willwood master cylinders have somewhat elongated mounting holes and should accommodate both. You may still need to make a custom length insert/slug/bullet...

@jjdeneen918 , I think that might be hard to track down via images. I believe that Delphi manufactures these for GM, Dodge, Ford, and others. I’m guessing there are minor variations like the spread of the MC mounting studs, fittings, etc.

You’re correct. Hydroboost (typically) puts out more force than a vacuum booster. I’m still puzzled by your problem though. The Hydroboost (even with a 1-1/6 or 1-1/8” mc) likely generates as much line pressure as a vacuum booster with 1” mc. Very strange.

1" bore vs 1-1/16" bore = ~12% difference (closer to 13 actually) 1-1/16" bore vs 1-1/8" bore is also ~12% difference 1" bore vs 1-1/8" bore = about 26% difference The reason for a larger bore size is if you need more volume for your calipers. Ford super duty's for example have up to a 1-1/2"...
