I did run the diagnostic after replacing the airbag ecu module and the airbag light still turned off after resetting it. I used the wire method to get the code. It told me the clock spring was bad. When I did a continuity test with my multimeter is said it was fine. I then did a continuity...

I replaced the upper and lower control arm bushings (OEM, of course) in the rear suspension. It rides so much better now. I also got around to replacing the drip rail molding. I think I bought it three or so years ago. Doing the final punch list before I put the GG80 on BAT.

It looks amazing Ian. Starting to see how "factory" the final product is going to look now. All the work is paying off. 🍻

I changed it to TC to E1 and it gave the code that showed the clock spring needs replacing.

I tried jumping TE1 to E1 to get the code, but got no blinking.

I was finally able to reset the airbag light. The only problem I have is that I can get it to turn off, but as soon as I restart the car the airbag light turns back on and stays on.

The airbag diagnostics are in the DLC1 port in the engine bay. That is a Toyota proprietary 23 pin connector. I am trying to use my OBD II scan tool to connect to it. I am trying to find an adapter, but there are none available. @Malleus is explaining how to make one in lieu of actually having...
