What have you done to your 200 Series this week?

The LC200 is my only (running) vehicle, too. But I haven't worked in almost 15 years, so that 650 miles/month is me just wandering around. And most of that has been in the past two years since I got the new travel trailer. The first two years, I averaged under 500 miles/month. To paraphrase...

What have you done to your 200 Series this week?

Wow, and I just turned over 30,000 on my 2021. It will be four years January 25th.

What have you done to your 200 Series this week?

Tell me about it! I've been paying for some combination of auto insurance on two to five vehicles at a time, up to four motorcycles at a time, home, life, boat(s), and umbrella for 55 years now. And I've never made a claim in all that time other than two Honda windscreens. Just a Quick Look...

    Vin i.d. on engine ??

This surprised me, but in a good way. Just last night we were watching an episode of The Lincoln Lawyer, where the investigator found a suspect Toyota Corolla with the VIN ground off. So he got out his trusty telescoping mirror and found the engine number, then did his super hacker magic and...

Routing extension cord into the interior?

I have an 8' extension cord coming up through the bottom of the tailgate near the springs, under the rear plastic lip, and into the cabin. The male pigtail hangs down about 10" over near my trailer plug outlet. I use this to power the fridge when at home or in a camp with power, as well as to...

    Media 200 series picture thread

I sure do like the no spoiler look! Especially on black

What have you done to your 200 Series this week?

Sorry for the late reply. We've been without power for a couple of days. Thanks to the 640AH of lithium batteries in our trailer, we didn't lose too much food. My LC is stock externally with OEM tires, and prior to adding the LFD rails, I had the OEM rails all the way to the rear. So, yes...

What have you done to your 200 Series this week?

I finally removed the stock roof rack rails, and installed a set of LFD Off Road's Ruggedized Crossbar Bundle. Easy Peasy! It took this old fart about an hour total. And a fair bit of that time was my insistence on exactly equal spacing.I then modified two sets of Malone SeaWing Kayak Carriers...

What have you done to your 200 Series this week?

What are you going to do with the original cup holders? I have one of the original KAON shelves before the side panels were included. They later sent the side panels to all purchasers, but they interfere with the tonneau mount. So if you're willing to part with them, I'd be interested. Thanks!

What have you done to your 200 Series this week?

Yep, I did too. But mine is just the basic platform, one drawer, and the second row seat delete. So less than 1/3 of that price. I built my own fridge slide with drawer slides and aluminum bar from McMaster~Carr, so under $300 there. And at 70 years old, there's no way I'm moving that 90 liter...

What have you done to your 200 Series this week?

What are you going to use for a slide for the NL Base Plate? In my setup, I didn't have enough width to run a pair of slides vertically. So I used a pair designed for flat mounting with 180 pond rating per pair. But pulling the fridge out about half way and it sags enough to require I help by...

SQOD Squad - Stupid Question Of the Day

Correct. I haven't had the chance to crawl under yet and look for the fill fitting. Gonna me mid-90s all week here in northern Ohio, and we're gone next week, so it'll be a while before I get to it. Thanks for the photos, though, @TLC2013

SQOD Squad - Stupid Question Of the Day

Thank you! I'd have never found that fill plug. Now I have to actually find it for real and take a sample. I went ahead and got the Blackstone pump to use. It uses their sample bottles as a reservoir, so no extra handling of fluids or cleaning of bottles. Easy peasy on the engine oil. We'll see...

SQOD Squad - Stupid Question Of the Day

Well, I've pulled the heavy Oliver trailer 10,000 miles now with the 2021 LC, and would like to get the transmission oil tested at Blackstone. I can't seem to find where to take a sample, though. There's no dipstick, and I've read about an overflow drain (which I haven't looked for yet), and...

Anyone else using a steering wheel knob?

I had one on my 1928 Ford Model A back in the late 60s. It made it easier with power steering. Of course I didn't have shock absorbers or seatbelts, either. Some things are better left in the past.
