    Roasted green chili

Slightly out of where you wanted, but Sichler's farm does roasting, it's just south of Lomas & San Mateo. I prefer their chile, but I like it hot. Also, you can find the fruit basket down on 4th Street, just South of Osuna. They are pretty good too.

    Medino pass

Thanks, I had Zapata falls on my list of POI, I'll add the bat caves. I'll air down, and I have a portable air compressor, but that's good to know, it'll probably be quicker than mine. It will probably just be a weekend thing, so I'll call this my scouting trip for next time when I have more...

    Medino pass

I'll be in Denver for a concert in a couple weeks, and was thinking of taking Medino pass on the way back, and passing by the Great Sand dunes NP. I seem to recall a few of you have done this. Any thoughts you would like to pass on would be appreciated.

    A Good Fire Extinguisher

It was the end of the axle/brake area. I don't know what failed, as I was just focused on putting out the flames. Once I did, I got out of there real quick. The driver barely even acknowledged what was going on, and immediately started calling someone (definitely not 911), and there was...

    A Good Fire Extinguisher

I've had a few different ones, but this one is the only one I have ever had to use. A few years ago I was coming back from a climbing trip and kept smelling something burning. I was concerned it was something in my Rav4 but nothing seemed amiss. About 10-15 miles more down the road I see a...

I was worried of the same thing, so I used grip tape and covered each step going down the front and back as well. It makes a huge difference.

    Trail libations

Costco has this on sale for 59.99. It has two rechargeable blenders that charge by usb-c. I picked one up for smoothies and daiquiris, but I bet they will work well with Margarita too. I haven't used it yet, but reviews are good.

2025 Membership Dues - its that time again

Looks like someone took over the domain, I never owned it. I am still paying for the service, it renews every Feb. Good to know, I'll cancel the subscription. I'm glad I asked, it is now up to $225. I wonder when we lost the domain, I have had this thing auto-renewing every year.

What brand 12V portable refrigerator do you use? Pros and Cons?

I have the Engel 60qt dual zone. I've had it for about 10 years, and most of that was just sitting in my garage. I know these are costly, but I bought it used. I currently don't have an insulated cover, but I may add it in the future. Running it for the month I was in Alaska, were the...
