I ended up doing exactly what flintknapper mentioned, swapped the plastic attachments and stapled it on very carefully. Would take a pic but they're already installed and covered up.

Has anyone personally installed these Ridies covers? The attachment seems to be completely different and no way it could connect to the bar on the driver's seat back frame(original white plastic is far bigger). Been lurking on this thread since it started and it is the reason I bought these. Any...
