    The only reason i can think of for using straps is to stop the coil falling off. But then there are alternatives like drop out cones. But anyway im deciding on the Koni Raids 90-5389 620mm 368mm front 90-5390 609mm 384mm rear as semlin points out in the other link, the slee 6" lift kit...

    Thanks for reply What size lift did you go? Generally I thought shocks are safe to fully extend? Compression being where the damage is done. Have you extended your bump stops. This thread has heaps of usefull info...

    Haha slack aussies. To answer your question no my FZ-FE doesnt have an EGR. Its a 93 model, and has done 300,000km's, im the third owner and as far as im aware there has never been any HG issues either. Ill put a photo up later.

    How to run 38's

    Yeah a 1 to 2 inch body lift (Roger Browns are good) should do the trick. Most likely have to modify/move your radiator/shroud, and check your lines for slack.
