They have more money than brains
I ran into a guy recently who had a really nice looking pig, brand new looking in fact. I went over and spoke with him as I love the pigs and am chipping away at mine. I asked him how much he spent on a beauty like that and about passed out when he told me...
parts for the pig
I'm in need of the lcok pin and cable for the rear bench seat latch. It locks the seat portion of the bench to the floor. I have the bracket that is bolted to the floor as but thats it. I'm just about to get this pig on the road and my kids will be sorely dissapointed if I...
bolt sizes
The seat belt bolt holes are gumed up as well as the upper bench hinge bolt holes. I need to retap them but I don't have any of the bolts. Can someone tell me what size they are supposed to be?
Thanks
Does anyone have a picture of the rear lower floor bench seat latch for a fj55? I'm missing all the parts except for the main bracket thats bolted to the floor. I guess I will make something up but am not sure where the pull cable should go etc..
Thanks
Mark
I have a 72 fj55 with a leaky radiator. I went to order a new one but the shop says the book only goes back to 1976. Is the later years radiator the same?
Thanks:beer:
Dengol you gave me an idea. What about taking quarter inch material and making custom washer/tabs? The washer would sit over the intake manifold and the tab would extend out about 1" across the header. Then I can weld the tab side to the header. I think that might put enough pressure on the...
How would half washers work if the header is missing material? I think I would have to weld more metal on to the header to bring it in close enough to get the washer to grab it. The intake has been previously milled to the same thickness as the header but my no. 1 problem is the fact the two...
I bought a 72 55 with a bad 2f motor awhile back and have since rebuilt it and am finishing things up. It came with a tri - valley 6 in to one header that I was not impressed with but it's what I've got. I had a buddy weld all the carcks in and actually installed it. Now that I have been...
insulator pad
Thanks Paul,
I think the insulator pad is one piece but not sure. I would most like to have the front floor mat as I am putting in damplifier and need something that will wrap around the trans cover.
Let me know...
I've got a 1972 and I'm looking for the pad on the firewall. There was a patch left behind the heater when I bought it. I'm also looking for a floor mat.
Thanks

Mines a 72 so if I get a tunnel cover from a 70 or so I should end up with one that fits?
Anyone with an early style tunnel cover they want to part with?
I just removed the passanger side body door trim and which still had the origional aluminum caps on the floor. Its real ugly under there...
