I had a similar problem with my FJ62 passenger rear not turning. I used Kroil on the ebrake mechanism. I put in 4wd and dragged it back and forth 10’. It eventually broke free. It works

I only cut the outer panel

If I remember correctly, the roof lid and rain gutters separated from the body. I cut above the rain gutter to see in. I had huge rust holes above the rear rain gutters on both sides. The roof section I removed was not long enough. I left the roof section above the front seats.

This project was placed in a shipping container back in Dec 2016. Not much has changed since the pics were posted. Now that I have some free time. I plan to finish this build. I just ordered a lift kit from Cruiser Outfitters. I'll get some pics of the interior when the lift kit arrives...

Slow progress, better late than never. Just need to seal the top, considering having it vinyl wrapped. I'll post more as things develop.
