Selling my 1971 FJ40 in Spring Green with fresh restoration. It is the original F-155 and 3 on the tree, 4 wheel power drum brakes, no power steering. About 83k original miles and I have no reason to doubt that. I tried to keep this as original...

Maybe I’m just bad luck ;) one that I ended up completely giving up on and rewiring was a 72 that had spent it’s life in AZ. The other that had a lot of wiring issues was a 79, but I believe that one had spent some time out East. FWIW the 61 FJ25...

I’m always amazed when OEM wiring lasts. I’ve had a couple cruisers where the wiring was so brittle I could never consider saving it - kept chasing down breaks in it. maybe has something to do with the dry heat in AZ? Kudos for being able to save...

Sounds good to me! Count me in for two, if it’s not too late to add one more for me. Thanks Dale for loaning the OEM bumper and thanks Trail Tailor for making the project happen!

Certainly one you’d feel better about seeing in person before buying - unless it goes cheap. Lots of good parts there. On the plus side, lots of places can do body work. Not having to find lots of parts would be a major bonus. Down side is body...

A very special "thank you" to @Tancruiser (Dale) for loaning this extremely rare part to Trail Tailor for measurement. Jason, Thanks again for taking on this project. Back in May I started a thread to see how many people were interested...

MN + LV doesn’t seem like a good combination. But who knows where it spent it’s whole life. I’ve seen a lot worse on quarter panels. At any rate, someone go save it please :) looks like a great candidate, depending on where the reserve is set /...

I'm the guy who bought it, I'm down in Missoula and passed it a few times on my way back and forth to Great Falls. Been a lurker on here for my lx470 for awhile and took the plunge on my first real project. It's a 1962 FJ40L according to the...

Hi guys, i haven't forgot about you and the horn buttons. I want to make more but it's going to be a long time before I figure out how to do it in a way where it doesn't take 5 hours per button. I think the metal retainer rings can be made as...

I agree... Black would look way better. It's sorta funny how you would think that a grommet for this particular situation would be easy to get. I talked to the local shop, and he sold me these nickel ones. But even though these were designed...

Looks fantastic Angelo! Here’s an example of a different but similar style of mudflaps i installed on my 45LV a while back. Thought it might help to kind of see how they mounted… I don’t think the grommet would be very visible unless you really...

Yeah, I found that out as well and I didn't want to pay those prices myself for my rig so that is why I went on the deep hunt for a cheaper source. I'll post up when I know exactly when these will be stateside and ready for shipping :).

If you’ve got more coming count me in for 4 red. Thanks for doing all the leg work to get these in - I’ve found some of these in Japan but like @Indygbd mentioned they're usually well over $100 a pair and shipping isn’t cheap either.
